| New Operations Update Released |
The National Order of the Arrow Committee has released a new operations update this month. It contains updates on LodgeMaster, Membership Verification, Literature Updates, Unit Elections, National Promotion Policy, Quality Lodge, and Ordeal Requirements.
Of particular note, the updates to the Field Operations Guide specify new regalia requirements for ceremony teams. The updates to the Guide for Officers and Advisers include new guidance on chapter operations. It specifies the officers of a chapter are a chief, vice chief, and secretary and also states that chapters may not have funds separate from the lodge custodian account. The Unit Elections update gives tips on improving success rates in medium/large troops. Finally, it stresses the importance of meeting as a Lodge Key 3 early in the year to determine the optional requirements for Quality Lodge. |
